Rohit Purohit joined the show midway as Armaan and instantly managed to click with the audience. He has been a part of the acting industry for a long time. Exclusively to BollywoodLife, Rohit reflected on his journey as an actor and revealed what makes it so special.

Rohit Purohit cherishes the fact that he has got the opportunity to play variety of roles that have emotional depth. He also said, “Being an actor… it means getting the chance to live so many different lives, to feel such a wide range of emotions. In this one lifetime, I’ve had the chance to live so many.” He added that he is grateful for all the opportunities that have come his way that have allowed him to polish his craft.

Rohit Purohit has featured in variety of roles. Currently, he is seen as an obedient family man and a romantic lover in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Earlier, he has played warrior Alexander: The Great in Porus. He said that acting has helped him break the monotony and dive in several challenging characters. He spoke about playing Armaan in Rajan Shahi’s show and said, “Armaan, for example, is one of the most complex roles I’ve done. His relationships are layered, and every day brings a new emotional equation.”

What success means to him…

Not many of his fans know that Rohit Purohit hasn’t taken any formal training in acting. He said that he tarted out raw and learnt everything on the job. He mentioned that working with amazing directors helped him learn. Rohit Purohit also commented on what success means to him. He said, “Success, for me, isn’t a destination. It’s about consistently doing what you love, and I feel blessed that I still get to do that.”
