On May 1, 2026, the Marvel multiverse will be brought together for the events of Avengers: Doomsday.
The culmination of Marvel’s Multiverse Saga, Doomsday will see Earth’s Mightiest Heroes reasssemble to do battle with Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.
While the plot of Doomsday has been kept tightly under wraps, we now have a good idea of which characters will appear in the film. In addition to Downey, Doomsday will feature a bevy of familiar faces,including the Fox X-Men, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, and returning Avengers such as Ant-Man, Captain America, Loki, and Thor.

With the production of Avengers: Doomsday now underway in London, the Russo brothers have shared an update for fans.

Taking to Instagram, the Doomsday directors posted a photo of a casting chair with the name “Victor Von Doom” written on it.
“Day one…,” they captioned the post.
Anthony Mackie Has Already Left For London
Based on a recent social media post from Anthony Mackie, we know that filming on Avengers: Doomsday is underway. Just days ago, the Brave New World star shared a post on his Instagram story that seemingly indicated that he was flying to set. By the look of things, Robert Downey Jr. has joined his Marvel co-star.
