Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have moved out of their home Mannat for the next couple of years due to renovation work. Now, reportedly, Gauri Khan has rented an apartment for her staff to stay.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan live in a luxurious home called Mannat along with their three children – Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam. However, recently, the Khan family moved out of their home as Mannat is undergoing renovation. Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly leased two lavish duplex apartments for the next two years until Mannat’s renovation work is complete. Now, Reports state that Gauri Khan has rented another apartment for Mannat’s staff to stay.
As per reports in entertainment news, Gauri Khan has taken an additional apartment on rent that is just 100 metres away from their current stay. The flat is said to be located in Pali Hill’s Pankaj Premises Cooperative Society. Reportedly, it is a 2BHK that has been rented out for her staff and spans over 725 sq ft, as per date accessed by Zapkey. The rent for the apartment is said to be Rs 1.35 lakh per month. It has been rented over three-year agreement. The agreement also includes Rs 4.05 lakh security deposit and clause for a 5% annual rent hike.
Talking about Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s recent accommodation, the couple has leased two duplex apartments in Puja Casa for Rs 2.9 crore per year. The monthly rental is around Rs 24 lakh. These duplex span over flour floors and has the area of 10,500 sq ft. Puja Casa is reportedly owned by actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani and family.
As per reports, Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat spans over 27,000 sq ft. It is a Grade 2-B heritage property. Reportedly, the current renovation work will lead to the expansion of the Mannat by additional two floors. It will increase the built-up are by 616.02 sq metres. Given its heritage status, there are restrictions on the renovation and extension work that can be carried out. The Khan family is expected to return into their home in two years.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan’s next big budget movie is KING. It also stars Suhana Khan in key role. Abhishek Bachchan has also been brought on board for this one.
