Renuka said, “There was a scene where she was getting ready, standing in front of a mirror. At that time, Raj comes from behind and, upon seeing her, says, ‘Wow.’ Hema asked me to stitch her blouse a bit tighter so that when Amit ji comes, he can fasten it tightly.

Baghban film’s first choice
In the same conversation, Renuka revealed that Hema Malini was not the first choice for the film. The makers first approached Tabu for the role of Pooja Malhotra. However, Tabu didn’t want to play the role of a mother of four grown-up kids at 36, and after that, the film was offered to Hema.
