Contributor of the Month – September – 360Cities Blog


Thomas Kerlin, is a new member of the 360Cities community who has quickly made an impression. Since joining in May, Thomas has published 149 panoramas and earned the Expert badge, reflecting both the quality and pace of his contributions.

Thomas describes himself as an amateur photographer with a passion for immersive imaging. Based in Germany and originally from Krefeld, he regularly explores the Oldenburg and Ammerland regions with his DJI drone and 360º camera always in hand, whether close to home or on vacation.

His recent work includes scenes from across Germany, where he focuses on views in the  Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen, lakeside locations, and aerial views that combine precision and atmosphere.

Highlights include:

  • A panorama from Serengeti Park showing cars passing through animals in the open savanna space.
  • An aerial shot of Penzlin, taken above the island Seeweide campsite.
  • A peaceful view of the Waldsee hunting lodge.
  • A wide shot slightly above  the Großer Stadtsee (“Great City Lake”).

Thomas’s work has a quiet focus and a clear point of view. His panoramas are carefully composed and technically polished, offering viewers a relaxed and steady way to explore each setting.
