Filming formally commenced on Sunday, Aug. 31, and the production wasted no time in getting its lead actor, Tom Rhys Harries, out in front of the cameras looking a bit worse for wear.

- Graffiti was spotted for “The Jokers.” Make of that what you will.
- A Gotham newspaper article made mention of the drug “Bliss.” This has appeared in the comics as well as the recent The Penguin TV series.
- Fliers were spotted on the wall for an Ashes on Sunday concert. This was a band that Black Canary has been associated with.
As with lots ot little details in films, it is highly unlikely any of these items will factor into the plot, but they do make for some fun easter eggs.
The untitled Clayface movie is scheduled to hit theaters on Sept. 11, 2026.
