The TRP report came in yesterday and again for the fourth time, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has grabbed the top spot. Now, Adrija Roy has opened up about Anupamaa losing the top spot.
Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa is the top TV show. It has a huge fan following and everyone has loved the story of a simple housewife. The show has been at the top of the TRP charts ever since it began in 2020. However, since a few months, we have seen the show losing its top spot. The storyline of the show is not able to impress the audience. This is happening since the show took a leap and many iconic characters left the show. However, it managed to be back on the top spot with Anu’s Mumbai journey. But, again since four weeks, the show has slipped down on the TRP charts. Yesterday, the TRP report of week 27 was released where we saw that once again, Anupamaa is on the second spot.
Adrija on TMKOC beating Anupamaa
Since four weeks, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been topping the charts. The bhootni track in the comedy TV show has worked well for the audience. The show has got 2.6 million impressions yesterday. But, Anupamaa has got just 2.0 million impressions.
Now, Adrija Roy aka Rahi has opened up about losing the top spot. She spoke to Pinkvilla and said that the TRPs are such a mystery sometimes that people feel they are giving their best and the story is strong, but numbers just don’t reflect that. She further added that the audiences are evolving, and their preferences keep changing. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
She said, “Maybe it’s also seasonal, or something new caught their attention temporarily. But I truly believe in our team and the story we’re telling—it still has a lot of heart.” She also spoke about the upcoming twists in the show where Anu and Rahi meet each other during the dance competition. She assured that the twists are going to be worth watching for the audience.
