DC Studios has reportedly tapped Ana Nogueira to write a new Wonder Woman movie, adding to her list of DC Universe credits.
According to The Wrap, DC Studios is moving forward with its Wonder Woman movie. The project has been rumored for some time now, but appears to already have a writer attached in the form of Nogueira.
It had recently been reported that a Wonder Woman was being ‘fast-tracked,’ but DC Studios co-chair James Gunn has denied this on social media, saying, “It’s a priority but I wouldn’t call that fast-tracked. Nothing is going to be shot unless we’re as sure as we can be that the script is good.”
To that end, the studio has returned to Nogueira who has already written next year’s Supergirl, and it also reportedly working on a script for a Titans film.
DC Studios has not yet issued an official comment.
There has been no word as of yet as to who may take over the role of Wonder Woman, but it is sure to be a highly desired role amongst actresses.
