360º Contributor of the Month – December – 360Cities Blog

Every month at 360Cities, we promote the talent of our global community. This December, we’re featuring Ken Stahley, a panoramic photographer whose lens transports us to the quiet corners of nature. Based in the USA, Ken’s work reflects a profound appreciation for landscapes that remain unspoiled by human touch.

For Ken, photography is more than a pastime—it’s a journey of discovery. Since joining 360Cities in March 2018, he has contributed an impressive 460 panoramas, capturing scenes that few have the privilege to experience firsthand. In November, Ken expanded his portfolio with 21 new panoramas, showcasing breathtaking sites that evoke both serenity and wonder.

Ken describes his philosophy:

“My panorama goal is to shoot interesting landscapes without man-made structures and in locations where the general public does not access. Occasionally, I will include a structure if it has significance with respect to the rest of the panorama.”

A Glimpse at Ken’s November Collection:

  • Antelope House Ruins: A quiet homage to ancient civilizations, hidden within rugged terrain.
  • Pueblo Bonito Elevated View: A striking vantage point of a site steeped in archaeological importance.
  • Castle Butte – A Different Perspective: A fresh angle on this geological marvel, revealing its timeless character.
  • Face Rock Overlook and Massacre Cave Overlook: Stunning vistas that highlight the solitude and majesty of the American Southwest.
  • Chimney Rock – Escalante, Utah: A towering landmark, standing boldly against the desert’s stark beauty.

Ken’s work takes us far beyond the usual paths, offering glimpses of landscapes that are often overlooked. Through his panoramas, he invites us to pause, reflect, and appreciate the beauty of untouched nature.
