Oscar Isaac Says He Is Not Returning as Moon Knight For ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’

For over three years now, Marvel fans have waited with bated breath for an update on the status of Moon Knight.

Since the conclusion of the fan-favorite Disney+ series on May 4, 2022, Moon Knight’s presence has loomed large. Nevertheless, the anti-hero has yet to materialize.

Despite hopes that Marvel was setting up Midnight Sons, or that Moon Knight would pop up in the Doctor Strange or Blade franchises, the studio has been silent on the character’s future.

Now, however, we may be able to cross a potential Moon Knight appearance off the list.

Oscar Isaac’s Latest Comments

In a recent video shared by Moon Knight News on X, Oscar Isaac was asked by a fan at the Frankenstein premiere if he was suiting up for Avengers: Secret Wars.

“It’s a secret, you know, but no,” Isaac said.

A fan asked Oscar Isaac about Moon Knight Season 2:

“You and me both… We’ll see, maybe one day, or in a movie we’ll see him.”

Although the actor was seemingly in a jovial mood, his answer was direct.

Reason to Hope?

While it doesn’t sound like Isaac has any plans to return as Moon Knight in the next Avengers multiversal adventure, it should be noted that Secret Wars is still years away.

With that in mind, it is certainly possible that Marvel wants to keep Isaacs’ return a secret. Additionally, there is still plenty of time for things to change.

So, while it doesn’t sound like we will see Moon Knight again anytime soon, there is still reason to hold out hope.
