Chandran is an actress and Bharatanatyam dancer, who is also known as a celebrity overcoming a tragic leg amputation in 1981 at the age of 16 to dance and build a successful career in Bollywood. The actress has worked in several industries, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Marathi.

Born on 21st September 1965 in Mumbai, Sudha Chandran’s roots are from Vayalur, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. Her father was a former actor. She had done a Master’s in economics at Mithibai College in Mumbai.
