The actor-director of Shanakht once revealed that the gorgeous actress was asked to shoot in a bra for a particular scene in a film. However, she refused to do so, which made the director furious, and she was almost fired from the film.

In a conversation with Radio Nasha, Tinnu recalled the incident with Madhuri Dixit. He said, “I told her that you have to remove your blouse, and for the first time, we should see you in your bra. And I am not going to hide anything behind a haystack or anything. Because you are offering yourself to help a man who is trying to help you. So it is a very important situation, and I want to shoot it on the first day. She said okay.”

Tinnu further revealed that on the day of shooting, Madhuri said no to the scene, and when she was asked what happened, she said she didn’t want to do it. “Tinnu, I don’t want to do this particular scene.” I said, “I’m sorry, you have to do this scene.” She said, “No, I don’t want to.” I said, “Okay, pack up, say goodbye to the film. I’ll cancel my shoot.”

However, the situation was later handled by Amitabh Bachchan, who intervened and said, “He said, ‘Let it be, why are you arguing with her? If she has an objection…’ I said, ‘If she had to object, she should have done it earlier, before signing the film.”

However, Madhuri Dixit eventually agreed to do the scene, and her secretary assured Tinnu that she would surely do the particular scene. The film was released in 1989 and revolves around a military officer who gets injured in a plane crash.
