Pavitra Rishta’ co-actress Usha Nadkarni became emotional on the death of actress Priya Marathe.
Famous TV actress Priya Marathe passed away on Sunday morning. She left this world at the age of just 38, battling cancer for a long time. Priya worked in popular serials like Pavitra Rishta, Kasam Se and Uttaran. Both the TV industry and fans are deeply shocked by her death. Her fellow actors and close ones shared heartfelt notes on the emotional news.
Actress Usha Nadkarni, who worked with her in Pavitra Rishta, shared memories related to Priya in a conversation. She said that Priya was very cheerful like the rest of the actors but did not talk unnecessarily. She used to laugh and joke with everyone and focused only on her work. Usha ji said emotionally, ““Bhagwan aesa kyu karte hai. Yeh koi umar thi jane ki.”
Mujhe laga vo ab theek hai.” Usha Nadkarni said that when she went to Ankita Lokhande’s house, Priya was discussed there. She said that Priya’s treatment has been completed and she has started working in serials again.
However, Ankita revealed that her health doesn’t look fine. Usha ji thought of meeting her, but Priya’s husband Shantanu said that no one should come to meet her for the time being. Her hair had fallen due to chemotherapy and she did not want anyone to see her in that condition.

Priya Marathe was born on 23 April 1987 in Mumbai. After completing her studies, she entered the world of acting and fulfilled her dreams. In the year 2012, she married actor Shantanu Moge. Shantanu played the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the TV show Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji. Priya got special recognition through Pavitra Rishta, in which she played the character of Varsha.
