In less than one year, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will assemble again for Avengers: Doomsday.
Serving as the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Multiverse Saga, Doomsday will bring heroes from across multiple timelines together to face off against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.
Among the heroes confirmed to return are original Avengers Steve Rogers, Thor, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Sam Wilson, and Shang-Chi; the Fantastic Four; the Thunderbolts*; and the Fox X-Men.

Needless to say, anticipation is high.
The Second Teaser Trailer Has Dropped
As the build-up to Doomsday continues, Marvel has released yet another teaser trailer for the film.

Last week, the studio confirmed that Steve Rogers will return.
Now, they are shifting their focus to Thor.
Thor’s Prayer
The second Avengers: Doomsday teaser finds Thor praying to his father, Odin, for the strength to fight one more battle.

The warrior’s goal is no longer to live a life of battle. Now, he simply wants to return home to his daughter, Love.
“Father, all my life, I have answered every call to honor, duty, to war. But now fate has given me something I never sought, a child, a life untouched by the sword,” he says in the clip.

“Lend me the strength of the all-fathers so that I may fight once more, defeat one more enemy, and then return home to her. Not as a warrior, but as a warmth to teach her not battle but stillness, the kind I never knew. Please, father, heed my words.”

The teaser concludes by stating, “Thor will return in ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’”
