The Russo Brothers have set the Marvel fandom ablaze with a cryptic post about Avengers: Doomsday.
The famed directors took to Instagram and shared an extremely blurry image of a chalkboard alongside the hashtag #DoomsdayIsComing.

While the writing on the chalkboard is illegible, that hasn’t stopped fans from throwing out theories about what the post means.
What Are Fans Speculating
The most common hypothesis is that the Russos’ image shows Reed Richards’ theories about traversing the multiverse.

This theory argues that Reed is having a brainstorming session, similar to what we thought in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, to come up with a way to stop Doctor Doom.
Other theories speculate that the post features some kind of reference to Moon Knight, Deadpool, or the TVA.

While we may have to wait a while to learn what the Russos are teasing, there will likely be a follow-up post from the directors.
Traditionally, the Russos have teased major announcements for their Marvel films methodically.
