Actress Tabu has officially joined the cast of the upcoming pan-Indian film directed by renowned Telugu filmmaker Puri Jagannadh and starring Makkalselvan Vijay Sethupathi. The announcement was made recently by the film’s production team.
This big-budget project, which will be made in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur. The shooting for the movie is expected to begin in June, and Vijay Sethupathi will reportedly be playing a never-before-seen role.
Tabu is known for her powerful screen presence and remarkable performances across Indian cinema. While she has mostly been active in Bollywood in recent years, she was last seen in Telugu in the 2020 hit film “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.” Her inclusion in this project marks her return to Telugu cinema after a five-year break.
