51 hi-res photos have been released of James Gunn, Peter Safran, and the cast of Superman from their appearance at CinemaCon.
Warner Bros. Discovery finished its presentation at CinemaCon—an annual trade show for theater owners—with the cast and crew of Superman. New footage from the film was shown, which is believed to be the ‘extended preview’ that will be shown in theaters with A Minecraft Movie.
Despite the conference not being open to the public, Warner Bros. Discovery did release 51 photos of James Gunn (Writer/Director, co-chair of DC Studios), Peter Safran (Producer, co-chair of DC Studios), David Corenswet (Clark Kent/Superman), Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), and Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor) to the press.
Superman will serve as the first live-action entry expressly made for the new DCU. In addition to seeing Superman, the film will include the first appearances of Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Perry White, Cat Grant, Steve Lombard, Lex Luthor, Eve Teschmacher, Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, Metamorpho, Guy Gardner, the Engineer, and Krypto the Superdog. Some rumors have indicated we will also see the first appearance of Supergirl, who is set to be played by Milly Alcock. She will then appear in her own film, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
The cast of Superman is set to include David Corenswet as Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. They will all be joined by Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, María Gabriela de Faría as the Engineer , Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Christopher MacDonald as Ron Troupe, and Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard.
Superman will hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
