Kay Kay Menon and Karan Tacker’s Special Ops 2 now has a new release date. Kay Kay Menon shared a video on his social media to make the big announcement.
July is quite an interesting month for all the web-series lovers. Quite a few intriguing releases are on cards. One of them was Kay Kay Menon‘s Special Ops. The first season of the show was released in 2020 and it received a great response from fans. The espionage thriller had left fans at the edge of their seats waiting to know more. Thus, there is great excitement for its part 2. However, much to the disappointment of the fans, the release of Special Ops 2 has been postponed. The web series was going to release on JioHotstar on July 11. But there is a slight delay. It will now begin streaming on OTT platform from July 18. Kay Kay Menon himself made the announcement.
What does Kay Kay Menon has to say?
Kay Kay Menon shared a video on his social media account announcing that Special Ops 2 will now release on July 18. He stated that some situations are beyond his control and the decision had to be made. However, he promised that all the episode of Special Ops 2 will release together. In the caption, he wrote, “We understand you’re on the edge of your seat, but thoda aur intezar and it’s going to be worth all the wait!” In the next post, Kay Kay Menon also shared a new poster of Special Ops 2 that has the new release date on it.

Well, fans can at least heave a sigh of relief that all the episodes of Special Ops 2 are going to release together unlike Criminal Justice season 4. Pankaj Tripathi’s show had left fans waiting as the episodes released in batches adding to the intrigue.
Special Ops 2 cast
In Special Ops 2, we will see Kay Kay Menon reprising the role of RAW agent Himmat Singh. Others like Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, Saiyami Kher, Meher Vij, Muzammil Ibrahim, Gautami Kapoor, Parmeet Sethi, Kali Prasad Mukherjee, Dalip Tahil, Arif Zakaria, and Tota Roy Choudhury. and others will also be part of the show. Some new members have also joined Special Ops 2. Prakash Raj and Tahir Raj Bhasin will be playing pivotal roles in the series. Reportedly, the series will revolve around cyber crime.
