The Korean Business Research Institute released its latest brand reputation rankings for stars in May. Let’s take a look at which star and brand topped the list.
Brand reputation rankings
Talking about the collection of rankings, the data is determined through analysis of various stars’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes. The data collection procedure took place from April 29 to May 29.
Son Heung-min
Son Heung-min topped the list this month, with a staggering 158.98 percent rise in his brand reputation index from April to the end of May. His total score for the month is 13,468,724.
BTS
Whereas BTS secured the second place with a brand reputation index of 11,241,355, making a 30.12 percent rise in score since the last month.
Lim Young Woong
Lim Young Woong takes the third place with a brand reputation index of 8,007,287, marking a 2.05 percent increase in brand reputation score since April.
BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK jumps to the fourth spot in the May ranking list with a brand reputation index score of 5,586,872.
Yoo Jae Suk
Moreover, Yoo Jae Suk secures the fifth spot with a brand reputation index of 5,466,580. He has marked an increase of 16.29 percent in his score since April.

Apart from the top 5, the list features 25 other members. The brand reputation index features IVE, Lee Jung Hoo, Son Suk Hoo, Go Youn Jun, Lee Byung Hun, BIGBANG, Byeon Woo Seok, Ma Dong Seok, and others.
