The Sandman season 2 will be released in two batches of episodes: The first arrives on July 3, and the second on July 24.
Netflix released a new The Sandman season 2 trailer on Thursday that shows off more of the final episodes, as well as letting us know when to expect them.
It was announced earlier this year that the series would end with season 2. Showrunner Allan Heinberg said of the news, “The Sandman series has always been focused exclusively on Dream’s story, and back in 2022, when we looked at the remaining Dream material from the comics, we knew we only had enough story for one more season. We are extremely grateful to Netflix for bringing the team all back together and giving us the time and resources to make a faithful adaptation in a way that we hope will surprise and delight the comics’ loyal readers as well as fans of our show.”
Season 2 will see the return of Tom Sturridge as Dream, Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Death, Mason Alexander Park as Desire, and Donna Preston as Despair. They will be joined by Esme Creed-Miles (Hanna) as Delirium, Adrian Lester (Primary Colors) as Destiny, Barry Sloane (Revenge) as The Prodigal, and Ruairi O’Connor (The Morning Show, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) as Orpheus.

No word as of yet as to the premiere date of the last episodes on Netflix.
