After a lot of rumours around the show being scrapped due to the issues between the channel and production, season 19 is finally back on track now. The makers have started preparing for the show. They have approached celebrities to be a part of the show. Mamta Kulkarni, Khushi Mukherjee, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Daisy Shah, Tanushree Dutta, Khushi Dubey, Lata Saberwal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vikram Singh Chauhan, Faisal Khan, Ram Kapoor, Sharad Malhotra, Raj Kundra, Gaurav Taneja, Paras Kalnawat, Shashank Vyas and others have been reportedly approached for the show. Reports suggest that there will not be any social media influencers or YouTubers in this season.
Habubu doll’s participation, theme and more
A few days ago, it was also being said that Habubu, the first-ever interactive Emirati robot-doll from the UAE will be participating in Bigg Boss. UAE’s robot doll can do everything that humans can do. She can talk, sing, dance, cook and even have feelings like humans.
As per reports, the theme of the show this year would be ‘REWIND’. This season, the makers have reportedly planned to bring back the original concepts like secret rooms, voting system and even tasks will be back. Earlier, the reports said that the show will begin from August 3, but as per The Screen, the show will begin from August 29 or 30.
Bigg Boss 19 to be a digital-first property
A source close to the portal also said that the makers are making this season as a digital-first property. Now, what does this mean? The show will run simultaneously on TV and OTT. But, the fresh episodes will first come on Jio Hotstar first. After one and a half hours, the episode will air on Colors TV. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
The same portal also reported that this will be the longest running season. Bigg Boss 19 will run for five months and Salman Khan will host only for three months. Later, Bollywood celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Farah Khan or Karan Johar might take up the hosting duties.
