Before the Marvel multiverse comes together for the events of Avengers: Doomsday, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will swing into action this summer in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The fourth installment in the MCU Spider-Man series, Brand New Day, will see Peter Parker set out into the world alone after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home made the world forget who he was.

This time, however, Holland will be joined by Mark Ruffalo’s Incredible Hulk and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher.
“Four years have gone by since we last caught up with our friendly neighborhood hero,” the film’s first synopsis reads.

“Peter Parker is no more, but Spider-Man is at the top of his game keeping New York City safe. Things are going well for our anonymous hero until an unusual trail of crimes pulls him into a web of mystery larger than he’s ever faced before.”
The First Trailer Has Arrived
With just months to go until Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters, Sony has released the first trailer for the film.
The clip begins with a clearly depressed Peter Parker still lamenting the loss of MJ and Ned. Following the duo’s antics on social media and in person, Peter practices how to reintroduce himself.

After a quick battle with Punisher, Peter finds himself passing out and then wrapped in a cocoon of webs.

When he reopens his eyes, his powers have drastically changed.

Seeking help, Parker turns to Bruce Banner, who does not remember who he is.

Nevertheless, the doctor diagnoses Peter with DNA mutations.
The final scenes show Spider-Man facing off with Scorpion and Sadie Sink’s mysterious character.

“Spiders have three life cycles. When between cycles, it can leave the spider vulnerable to threats,” Peter is warned.
