In a recent episode of Celebrity MasterChef, fans got to see a massive argument between Nikki Tamboli and Gaurav Khanna. The two stars do not get along and since the beginning, Nikki has been making nasty remarks against Anupamaa star. In a recent episode, a move made by Gaurav Khanna led to decrease in time allotted to Nikki Tamboli to prepare her dish. This left her furious. The tension escalated when Nikki stormed out of the set after calling Gaurav Khanna’s actions ‘disrespectful’.
In the episode, Nikki Tamboli got all angry and agitated when Gaurav Khanna allegedly threw carrot peels on her. It was all in fun and the banter was between Rajiv and Gaurav. However, Nikki was standing next to Rajiv and she got angry. She said that she won’t tolerate this kind of behaviour and left. She refused to return until he apologised. Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia and others took a stand for Gaurav stating that he was simply joking. Now, in a chat with entertainment news portal Etimes, Nikki Tamboli has spoken up on the incident.
Nikki Tamboli mentioned that he threw carrot peels on her face despite the director instructing to not waste food. She called his action ‘unprofessional’ and ‘disrespectful’. She was quoted saying, “He threw carrot peels on my face! despite being clearly instructed by the director not to waste food. I have always been particular about taking a stand for myself, and I couldn’t ignore this. It wasn’t just about the mess—it was about basic respect. His actions were unprofessional and disrespectful. He is not my friend that he can behave this way with me,and I won’t tolerate such behavior in a competitive setting where rules and discipline matter.”
During the show, Nikki Tamboli also called Gaurav Khanna ‘insecure’. Replying to her, he hit back stating that it is not insecurity but competitiveness. He gave it back to Nikki Tamboli with full force with his remarks.
