Amazon MX Player and Almighty Motion Pictures left movie buffs excited and happy as they unveiled the first look from the upcoming series, Made in India – A Titan Story. For the unversed, the film features Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah playing the role of the titan, industrialist, and visionary. The upcoming series is all set to indulge and share the story of one of the most visionary industrialists who influenced the modern landscape of industrialism in India.
The series, directed by Robby Grewal and written by Karan Vyas, is a six-part story, and alongside Naseeruddin Shah, it also stars Jim Sarbh as Xerxes Desai, the founding managing director of Titan. The star cast also includes Namita Dubey, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Kaveri Seth, Lakshvir Saran, and Paresh Ganatra. Made in India – A Titan Story is adapted from Vinay Kamath’s book Titan: Inside India’s Most Successful Consumer Brand.
It follows the partnership between Tata and Desai and how they both navigated through the financial and administrative hurdles to create a company that revolutionized the Indian landscape completely. Director Robby – while sharing the announcement on Instagram – posted, “Bringing J.R.D. Tata’s legacy to life has been an inspiring journey. His contribution was not just about business but also about building purpose-driven institutions. With Naseeruddin Shah in the lead, we’ve tried to bring depth and authenticity to this important story.”
The series is expected to premiere in early 2026 on Amazon MX Player. If sources are to be believed, it will be available for free viewing on the platform. Naseeruddin Shah, who recently turned 75, continues to prove his mantle by taking on legendary roles. He was last seen in IC814: The Kandahar Hijack on Netflix.
