Just days after news broke that Wonder Man has been renewed for a second season, fans have received another exciting update about a Disney+ Marvel series.
During a recent appearance on The Escape Pod, Marvel’s Head of Animation, Brad Winderbaum, confirmed that Marvel Zombies has been renewed for a second season.

“I don’t think it’s a spoiler. But I saw the first animatic of the first episode of Marvel Zombies Season 2 this morning. It was crazy. I can’t say anything about it, but it delivers not just on zombies, but also on an MCU element that has never really been done before that we’re very excited about,” he said.
‘Marvel Zombies’
A spinoff of What If…?, Marvel Zombies follows a collection of undead heroes and villains in a post-apocalyptic alternate universe.

Since its debut last December, Marvel’s first TV-MA animated series has received strong reviews for its animation, storytelling, and fresh take on classic characters.
Among the heroes and villains featured in Season 1 were Thor, Ant-Man, Wasp, Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, Red Guardian, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange.

Numerous MCU stars also returned to reprise their roles, including Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Tessa Thompson, Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Hailee Steinfeld, Wyatt Russell, Randall Park, Iman Vellani, and Dominique Thorne.
When Will Season 2 Debut?
While it remains to be seen when Marvel Zombies Season 2 will arrive on Disney+, production is clearly underway.
