Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai TV serial has got everyone talking with the current storyline. Rohit Purohit plays the role of Armaan in show while Samridhii Shukla is seen as Abhira. The show recently witnessed a leap and a few new characters got introduced. Geetanjali entered Armaan’s life and became her good friend. Now, his daughter Maira wants Armaan and Geetanjali to marry. But how did they meet? In a recent interview, Rohit Purohit has spilled beans.
How did Armaan meet Geetanjali?
In a chat with entertainment news channel Bollywood Spy, Rohit Purohit revealed how he met Geetanjali and how she became so important in Maira’s life. It is Samridhii Shukla aka Abhira who asks him about his meeting with Geetanjali. Rohit reveals that Armaan moved to Mount Abu with Maira and took Geetanjali’s grandfather’s house on rent. He then got to know that there is a girl named Geetanjali and she became close friends with Maira. “Ek time aya ki Maira ne zid karni shuru kardi ki Geetanjali hi uski mumma hai. Bohot baar samjaya bhi ki yeh mumma nahi but friend hai,” says Rohit Purohit.

Left without any choice, Abhira calls Armaan. Now, they are under one roof but are living like strangers. Abhira is doing her best to avoid Armaan. After she got to know about his engagement with Geetanjali, Abhira signed the divorce papers. Now, it is Anshuman who is trying to help her move on in life from Armaan. But the past has returned and has once again made her life miserable.
