If you’re a Marvel fan, chances are you’ve heard of Marvel Contest of Champions.
This wildly popular mobile fighting game allows players to collect and command a vast array of Marvel superheroes and villains, forming teams to tackle story-driven solo quests or engage in multiplayer battles.
With a lineup of more than 300 characters and accessible gameplay, Marvel Contest of Champions has remained one of the most beloved mobile games since its launch in 2014.

To celebrate the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Kabam and Marvel are teaming up for real-world and in-game events.
Special Events at the El Capitan
On July 25 and 2, Marvel is hosting special fan events at the El Capitan Theatre. The gatherings will include on-site activities and multiple Content of Champions game demos featuring a special Fantastic Four quest. Players who complete the challenge will take home a Contest of Champions H.E.R.B.I.E. pin.

Dimensional Arcade: Doom Cycle
Additionally, on Thursday, July 24, Contest of Champions will debut the new Dimensional Arcade: Doom Cycle. The new limited-time game mode enables players to delve into the chaos of the multiverse and explore brand-new modes and gameplay.

The first story sees players join the Fantastic Four as they investigate an abundance of Doombots in their Battlerealm. This mode also features a new casual autoplay experience and a separate Energy Resource, as well as unique environments, music, art, and other surprises. According to Kabam, it’s an entirely new experience and it’s only available for a limited time!
Introducing Squad Builder
Finally, from now through August 6, a new limited-time side quest called Squad Builder will be live in Contest of Champions.
According to Kabam, “The goal is to form the highest-scoring Squad possible. Each Squad formation has a score based on ‘Factions’ and ‘Grades’. Build towards the best Squad formation with up to three rounds of swaps. When you are happy with your Squad, or when the swap rounds are done, take on the Boss Fight and lock in your Squad score. The best part about this Quest is that players will receive 52 FREE MAXED OUT 2-STAR CHAMPIONS to play with in this mode.”
