During the conversation, Esha Gupta said, ‘I had a fight. Sajid Khan and I were not at all on the same page, and we ended up having a proper fight. It happened once, and after that, things were never the same. See, I don’t like people abusing me. You should always treat people the way you want them to treat you. It’s that simple. Unhone mujhe gaali di… phir maine bhi di.’

The actress had a firm decision to walk out of the film. Esha added that she walked out of the set and went home. However, the producer Vashu Bhagnani apologised to her before Sajid. This made her change her mind.

However, when asked what led to the fight, Esha said that some people speak without thinking due to frustration. She chose not to elaborate, having moved on from the incident and also clarified that Sajid’s misconduct towards her wasn’t related to the #MeToo allegations against him.
