Elizabeth Olsen Doesn’t Remember Anything About ‘Marvel Zombies’

When all is said and done, Marvel Zombies may be the final time that we see or hear Elizabeth Olsen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

After seven years of portraying Wanda Maximoff across film, television, and animation, Olsen’s time as the Scarlet Witch seemingly came to an end with her character’s death in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Or at least, that’s what we thought.

With the debut of Marvel Zombies, Elizabeth Olsen got the chance to reprise her role as Wanda in the MCU.

As it turns out, however, the actress filmed the lines years ago and doesn’t remember the show’s plot.

“I truly recorded that years ago. I can’t remember anything,” she said at L.A. Comic Con (via GamesRadar).

Olsen Recorded Her Lines Years Ago

According to Olsen, she recorded her Marvel Zombies lines at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It’s my voice. I did it in my house, I wasn’t even in an office space. This must have been 2020, 2021? Why was I working in my house and not in a studio? I really have no idea what it was like. I’m so sorry.”

While Olsen may not recall recording her lines for Marvel Zombies, her performance as Wanda Maximoff in the animated series has been praised by fans and critics alike.

The End?

If the Scarlet Witch really did die at the end of Doctor Strange 2, it was great to see the character one more time. Even if it was an undead variant of the beloved Marvel hero.
