Sardaar Ji 3’s star Diljit Dosanjh finally puts rumours of his exit from Border 2 to rest and takes the internet by storm with his latest post.
Bollywood star Diljit Dosanjh who is currently basking in the success of his recently released film Sardaar Ji 3 is surrounded by controversy. Netizens demanded a ban on Diljit for working with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan.
As per various reports, there were rumours that claimed Diljit has been dropped from Border 2. Diljit grabbed a lot of attention after the trailer of the film Sardaar Ji 3 was released on June 22. Netizens trolled and slammed him for working with a Pakistani artist.
Diljit Dosanjh puts all rumours to rest
Actor Diljit Dosanjh broke the internet as he shared a BTS video from the sets of Border 2. The Punjabi munda has finally put all the rumours to rest about him being dropped from the film. Border 2 stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty in the lead. In the video, Diljit looked handsome as he was all suited up along with his big gang dancing in the background. The title track of Border titled Ke Ghar Kab Aoge was played in the background.

The netizens flooded the post with their messages. One wrote in Punjabi, “Hun v karo Saliyoo Jijjaa banned.” Another commented, “Marr jaane HATERS ? Jatta Oh Ta agge neend dia goliia dye khaan. Susri vangu so jane aa.”
There were rumors that Ammy will be replacing Diljit in Border 2, but a source told Hindustan Times that there is no plan to replace or remove him from the film. The source said that nearly half the film has already been shot and any replacement at this stage would be logistically unfeasible.
Border 2 will be releasing on January 23, 2026 and is the sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 war drama Border.
