Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection Day 22: Despite heavy competition, Mahavatara Narasimha is performing exceptionally well at the box office. The success of films like War 2 and Coolie, which grossed over Rs 100 crore in two days, has surpassed other releases. Movies like Saiyaara, Son of Sardar 2, and Dhadak 2 have almost disappeared from the box office competition. However, the animated film Mahavatara Narasimha is unaffected. After a successful debut on July 25, the movie has already made history by more than tripling its revenues the following day.

The film grossed Rs 2.6 crore on Thursday and Rs 7.25 crore on Friday, for a total of Rs 195.60 crore. Mahavatara Narasimha’s weekend box office performance is expected to surpass Rs 200 crores shortly. The film is directed by Ashwin Kumar.

The release of two of the highest grossing movies this year, Coolie and War 2, failed to make any impact on Ashwin Kumar’s animated flick. What’s interesting is that, although big films like Saiyaara and Son of Sardar 2 have fell short at the box office now, the animated movie Mahavatara Narasimha remains successful. On its fourth Friday, Saiyaara earned just Rs 2 crore, but Mahavatara Narasimha garnered nearly three times that amount.

The film, directed by Ashwin Kumar, was shot on a budget of barely Rs 15 crore and, according to Sacnilk, has grossed Rs 239.50 crore globally in just 21 days.
