According to reports in Pinkvilla, Housefull 5 will make an opening of around Rs 23 crore on day 1. Whereas Koimoi predicts a collection of Rs 22-24 crore on the opening day. Moreover, many reports suggest that the film is set to earn even more than the predicted data.

If the reports turned out to be true, then Akshay Kumar’s Housefull % will beat his earlier releases, Sky Force and Kesari Chapter 2, to become the highest opener of the year. Not just this, it will become his highest-grossing post-COVID-19.

Talking about advance booking, Housefull 5 has reportedly grossed Rs 2.15 crore on day 1 advance booking. The film has sold around 70,000 tickets across 10549 shows.
Housefull 5 beats Akshay’s Sooryavanshi
Noting this, before Housefull 5, Sooryavanshi had the biggest advance booking of Akshay Kumar’s career as it earned Rs 5.35 crore. However, now Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 has left behind Sooryavanshi by minting Rs 5.7 crore, including the block seats.

As per reports in Sacnilk, Housefull 5 has been made in about Rs 225 crore, excluding the expenses on print and advertisement. Reportedly, the film has been released in more than 5000 screens.
