Actor Manikandan, known for his performances in numerous films such as Good Night, Lover, and Kudumbasthan, is all set to return to direction. He has already gained popularity for his acting, and now he plans to direct a new film, which will also star him in the lead role.
The upcoming project will be produced by the well-regarded filmmaker duo Pushkar-Gayathri. This announcement was made during a recent public event. Manikandan will not only act but also helm the film as its director.
Before stepping into acting, Manikandan contributed to the film industry in multiple roles including script writing, screenwriting, and as an assistant director. He rose to fame with his powerful performance in the film Jai Bhim, and since then, has acted in several main roles that were well received by the audience.
Back in 2016, Manikandan directed a film titled Narai Ezhuthum Suyasarithai, which went on to win several awards. Now, with his upcoming project, he is making a return to directing. An official announcement regarding the film is expected to be released soon.
