Veera Dheera Sooran, starring Vikram, S.J. Suryah, and Dushara Vijayan, is currently receiving a warm response in theatres. Directed by S.U. Arun Kumar, the film features music composed by G.V. Prakash. Many scenes in the movie have been praised for their powerful background score and “theatre-worthy” impact.
One of the biggest highlights comes during the climax sequence, where the film surprises audiences with the inclusion of the iconic song “Madura Veeran Thaane” from the movie Dhool, originally composed by Vidyasagar. This unexpected addition turned out to be an emotional and goosebump-inducing moment for the audience.
Speaking to Vikatan, director S.U. Arun Kumar revealed that the idea to include this classic song was made even during the scripting phase. He stated, “The entire film carries a festive tone, and we planned to include this song playing through a radio during the climax scene to match that vibe. Initially, we weren’t sure it would fit because of the scenes leading up to it, but during post-production, we decided to take a creative liberty and added the song,” he explained.
“Veera Dheera Sooran” has been praised for its bold storytelling and impactful direction, and this musical twist only added to the excitement. The song helped enhance the emotions of the climax, giving fans a nostalgic treat in an intense moment.
