This Week on The Grid: How Would I Edit Your Photo?

This week’s episode of The Grid brought back one of our favorite formats: How Would I Edit Your Photo? Scott Kelby and Erik Kuna rolled up their sleeves and worked through a variety of viewer-submitted images, showing exactly how they’d approach each edit using Lightroom, Camera Raw, and Photoshop.

The episode kicked off with a studio motorcycle shot that got a complete transformation thanks to masking, perspective corrections, and Generative Fill. From there, Scott tackled a lighthouse image from the Outer Banks, using sky masking and Generative Remove to clean up distractions and improve the overall balance of the scene. Other highlights included a challenging church interior that needed color correction and perspective fixes, plus a Milky Way composite where Erik demonstrated noise reduction, white balance adjustments, and blending a star-tracked sky with a twilight foreground.

The show wrapped up with a rapid-fire series of edits, including a sunset cityscape, an air-to-air aircraft image, and a couple’s portrait. Along the way, Scott also shared a preview of an upcoming Lightroom Update webcast with Adobe’s Terry White.

If you enjoy seeing real editing decisions made in real time, this episode is packed with practical tips and creative problem-solving. Watch the replay below and follow along with the edits.
