This Week on The Grid: Scott Goes Solo for Blind Photo Critiques

This week on The Grid, Scott flew solo while Erik was off chasing Milky Ways at a night photography conference—and things got interesting fast.

He jumped straight into a lively round of blind photo critiques, working through a wide range of viewer-submitted images, from wildlife and landscapes to baseball action, architecture, portraits, and night photography.

As always, the feedback was honest and practical. Scott covered everything from white balance and composition to lighting, distractions, and post-processing techniques in Lightroom, Camera Raw, and Photoshop—all with his usual mix of insight and humor.

Along the way, he also shared a preview of his upcoming Florence workshop, teased a new continuous lighting class, and mentioned his appearance at the Big Thinkers Conference.

If you like seeing real photos broken down with clear, usable advice, this episode delivers. Watch the replay below and see what you can apply to your own work.
