It also offers a collection of converters, which you can use to switch files from one format to another, such as WEBP to JPG.

On the whole, processing times are speedy, and results are largely impressive, with the various tools doing exactly what you’d want them to do.
Key Features of Liftapp.ai
As mentioned above, there are dozens of different tools and features included with Liftapp.ai, including some that focus on generating new content and others that are more oriented toward enhancing images in various ways.
I won’t detail every single feature here, but will, instead, focus on some of my favorites for photographers and content creators.
AI Image Enhancer
If you want Liftapp.ai to help you revive or restore images with flaws or low quality, the AI Image Enhancer is the tool for you.
Just as the name suggests, this feature is aimed at bringing out the best in even the lowest-grade images. It can clean up visual flaws, like noise or blur, resulting in images that feel cleaner, crisper, and sharper in every aspect.
I played around with this tool using this picture of a couple of birds perched on a wire.
The image is relatively high quality, but I felt it could still use a little touching up and additional sharpness.
I activated Liftapp.ai’s “Auto-enhance” mode, and in a matter of seconds, the app had updated my image. The changes weren’t hugely noticeable, but by flicking back and forth between the “original” and “enhanced” pictures, I could notice some subtle improvements.
Presumably with lower quality images, the impact of this feature would be greater. It may not make a world of difference to your general editing, but it’s worth testing out to potentially save some of those lower quality images you might usually cull.
AI Background Remover
Like many other AI-powered photo editing platforms these days, Liftapp.ai also offers an AI background remover. As the name states, this automatically detects, isolates, and removes the backdrop from your images.
Here it is in action on the same picture of the two birds.
As you can see, this didn’t quite work out perfectly. The tool mistakenly interpreted the wire that the birds were sitting on as being a part of the background. So, in its attempt to isolate the birds themselves, it ended up cutting into their bodies slightly.
I did try this tool with other, simpler images, like portraits, and it produced much cleaner results. However, it’s still worth noting that your experiences will vary, depending on the nature of the photos you’re working with.
AI Image Upscaler
I know that many photographers, including myself, have been in that awkward situation where you have what seems to be a high-quality photo, but its resolution is simply too small for the intended usage. It can happen so easily due to a simple misconfiguration in your camera settings, for example.
In the past, you’d have to forget about those small, pixelated images and delete them. Now, with tools like Liftapp.ai’s AI Image Upscaler, you don’t need to. You can breathe new life into those little pictures, scaling them up without losing quality or detail.
The way it works is very straightforward: simply upload your chosen image, select the AI upscaler, and choose between 2x or 4x upscaling.
It can turn even the tiniest, low-resolution pictures into 4K-level images, with crisp lines, sharp details, and ready to print, publish online, or use in various other ways, with none of those awkward visual distortions you’d usually get when blowing up small pictures.

Along with the aforementioned editing tools, Liftapp.ai offers a varied range of additional features aimed at enhancing images or bringing low-grade pictures up to a higher standard.
AI Image Denoiser
It’s one of the most frustrating things for a photographer – you capture what should be a high-quality photo, with your subject in the perfect pose and the lighting just right, only to find that the final picture is covered with visual noise, those frustrating little pixels ruining the aesthetic you were aiming for.
The AI Image Denoiser from Liftapp.ai is able to help with this. It’s designed to spot noise in your pictures and get rid of it for you, and it works remarkably well, at least in all the tests that I carried out.
I uploaded some very distorted images to this tool to see just how good it was at getting rid of noise, and I was astonished at the results. Time and again, the Denoiser was able to clean up my images, smoothing out the pixelated parts and leaving me with pictures that were crisp, clear, and detailed.
Again, like so many of Liftapp.ai’s features, one of the things I love about this tool is how easy it is to work with.
It’s simply a case of uploading the picture you want to fix, then letting the AI improve it for you while you wait. You don’t have to worry about any complex manual editing processes or time-consuming workflows here. Even total beginners will have little trouble using this platform to get professional-level results.
AI Relight Photo
Another common issue faced by photographers around the world is when you capture what should be a fabulous photo, but the lighting isn’t quite right. So, even if your subject is in the perfect pose, or you captured a once-in-a-lifetime shot, it feels faded, washed out, or simply not as amazing as it could be.
Enter the AI Relight Photo feature. This tool uses AI to fix the lighting in your pictures, and once more, I was astonished by just how well it worked.
I uploaded some old pictures I took in dimly-lit environments, pictures that I always thought had some potential, but never quite lived up to it due to the poor lighting of the spaces in which I captured them.
The results were jaw-dropping. It was like Liftapp.ai could read my mind, making the perfect alterations to the lighting and color balance of each picture to bring out its hidden beauty, and it did it all in a matter of seconds, saving me time and effort in my usual photo editing software.
AI Old Photo Restorer
If you’ve ever come across an old picture from years or even decades gone by and wished you could bring it up to modern standards, the Liftapp.ai AI Old Photo Restorer is exactly what you need.
Using the same kind of technology seen in the other features mentioned above, this clever tool scans old pictures, identifies the issues they have, which might revolve around lighting, color balance, contrast, blurriness, noise, or a combination of these, and then automatically fixes them for you.
I uploaded a few different old pictures to this tool, including some family photos from days gone by, and was blown away by the results.
Liftapp.ai didn’t go overboard in its changes; it simply made the necessary adjustments here and there to bring these pictures into the modern era, without ruining the original features that made them special.
Pricing
Pricing is one of the more contentious points of Liftapp.ai.
While it does offer a free trial, which allows you to test out the various features and tools without spending any money, you won’t actually be able to download any of your creations until you sign up for “Lift Pro.”
Lift Pro is a premium subscription, currently costing $19.99 per month. That’s not a bad price when you look at the vast number of tools that this platform offers, and it’s similar to other AI image editing and generative platforms.
However, at the same time, it’s a shame that Liftapp.ai doesn’t currently offer a cheaper alternative or even a limited free plan that might allow users to at least make or edit a few images for free each month.
Some users have also complained about difficulties when they try to cancel their subscription or request a refund from Liftapp.ai’s developers. That’s something to keep in mind if you’re on the fence when it comes to investing in this app.
Who Is Liftapp.ai For?
Because of its broad range of features, including everything from AI watermark removal to fun filters and professional headshot generation, Liftapp.ai is an appealing option for an equally broad array of users. That includes:

Ultimately, I was very impressed with this app. It’s not perfect; the pricing system feels a little imbalanced and could use some improvement, and some of the features feel a little less polished than others.
Overall, however, the pros of Liftapp.ai far outweigh the cons as it’s easy to work with, it’s efficient, it’s fast, and it gets results. No matter which tool I used, I was regularly impressed with how quickly it worked and how well the results aligned with – or even exceeded – my expectations.
With so many tools included, both for generating fresh content and editing or enhancing existing content, I feel this is a platform I can go back to again and again, whenever I find myself needing to touch up a picture or make more extensive edits, without having to spend hours in Photoshop.
So, can I recommend Liftapp.ai? Absolutely – it’s not for everyone, but those who need it will find so much to love about this platform.
