With the Marvel multiverse coming together for the events of Avengers: Doomsday, dozens of the MCU’s biggest stars will once again share the screen.
This time, however, they will be joined by heroes from other Marvel franchises, including the Fox X-Men and perhaps Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man.

While fans are understandably excited to see 25 years of Marvel heroes suit up together, there has also been a looming fear that Doomsday will be too crowded, or that characters will appear just for the sake of nostalgia.

Against this backdrop, we have new comments from Thunderbolts star Lewis Pullman, who will suit up as Sentry again for Avengers: Doomsday.
Pullman’s Praise For the Russo Brothers
During a recent interview with Esquire, Pullman addressed Doomsday‘s oversized cast. According to the MCU star, every character is there for a reason.

“Every character has their moment that builds the dimensions of them. The Russo brothers did that so well. They do not want anyone just sitting in the background,” he said.

“A Lot of Fans Will be Really Excited”
Finally, according to Pullman, fans have every reason to be excited for the Marvel multiversal adventure.

“There’s a lot of really exciting pair-ups that happen. A lot of fans will be really excited. It’s so fun to dream about. What if A and B would work together? Would B and D work together? You get to see a lot of those fantasies come into fruition.”
Avengers: Doomsday will hit theaters on December 18, 2026.
