Asrani Death News:Film veteran Govardhan Asrani, commonly referred to as Asrani, passed away on October 20 following a protracted illness. He was eighty-four years old. Now, a video of the late actor having fun and dancing at an event has gone viral online. The caption notes that the occasion was just “10 days ago” before he died. As singer Pinky Maidasani plays a Sindhi song, Asrani is seen having a great time at an event in the widely circulated video.
The singer shared the video on her Instagram, captioning it: “Last event just 10 days back, he was on stage and dancing to Sindhi tunes at the event. Wow, what a life he lived to the fullest-a true gem of an artist, our own legend, Asrani Saheb.”

As soon as the singer shared the video, fans were quick to take the comment section and shower woth their emotional note for the late actor. One user wrote, “Great Actor,” another commented, “Bless his soul ???.”

Who was Asrani?
Govardhan Asrani was born into a middle-class Sindhi family in Jaipur on January 1, 1940, and showed little interest in his father’s carpet business. He graduated from Rajasthan College in Jaipur after completing his education at St. Xavier’s School. He worked as a voice actor for All India Radio in Jaipur to pay for his schooling.
In 1960, Sahitya Kalbhai Thakkar served as his mentor as he embarked on his acting career. In order to hone his skills, he later enrolled in the esteemed Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, in 1964. In 1967, Asrani made his Bollywood debut as Biswajeet’s friend in the movie Hare Kaanch Ki Choodiyan.
