According to Netflix’s official site Tudum on September 3, Kpop Demon Hunters surpassed 50.2 million viewing hours between August 25-31. It received a total 443,4 million viewing hours (266 million views), dethroning Squid game Season 1 (265.2 million views) and claimed the top spot.

Kpop Demon Hunters has become the most-watched title ever which is a huge deal since it came four years after Squid Game set the global benchmark.

TWICE appears in Kpop Demon Hunters through a song performed by three of their members. Jihyo, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung sing the end credits version of “Takedown”. This song is featured as the lead single from the movie’s soundtrack. TWICE’s involvement played a huge role in the movie’s promotion.
