Bollywood actor Salman Khan celebrated Independence Day 2025 on August 15 by thanking his followers on social media and performing the patriotic song Saare Jahan Se Achha in a black-and-white video. He wrote, “Happy Independence Day,” with an India flag emoji, while wearing a black shirt. The video finished with him folding his hands in namaste and extending his customary salaam to fans.

The actor, who has contributed his voice to songs in films including as “Kick” and “Hero”, shared a touching video of himself performing Saare Jahan Se Accha.

Meanwhile, Filmmaker Kabir Khan recently celebrated the 13th anniversary of his action movie “Ek Tha Tiger,” starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. He celebrated by posting some behind-the-scenes pictures from the movie’s set along with a meaningful message. According to him, the film marked the start of the well-known YRF Spyverse.
Taking to Instagram, Kabir shared a few BTS pics and wrote, “Tiger… Tiger… Tiger… Thirteen years ago, Ek Tha Tiger with the megastars @beingsalmankhan and @katrinakaif roared into cinemas with the biggest opening in Indian cinema at that time, not just as a blockbuster romance-thriller, but as the spark that ignited what would become the now-famous YRF Spyverse.”

Salman is now preparing for the release of his upcoming movie, Battle of Galwan, which is based on the conflict between Chinese and Indian armies in the Galwan valley. Chitrangda Singh stars in the film, which is her first cooperation with Salman. The film also stars Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia, Harshil Shah, Heera Sohall, Abhilash Chaudhary, and Vipin Bhardwaj.
It is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
