A new Peacemaker season 2 red band trailer has arrived, showing that the series is going to continue being very much geared toward adults.
How Peacemaker fits into the new DC Universe remains to be seen. As fans will remember, season 1 of the series ended with the Zack Snyder version of the Justice League arriving. We’ve started to hear things will play out just a bit differently now.
The returning cast will include John Cena as Christopher Smith/Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, and Steve Agee as John Economos. New additions include Sol Rodriguez as Sasha Bordeaux, and Tim Meadows as Langston Gleury.
Peacemaker season 2 is set to debut on Aug. 21, 2025.
