Warner Bros. releases new Superman hi-res photos

Warner Bros. Pictures has released four new Superman high-resolution images from the upcoming film directed by James Gunn.

The new images were previously published with watermarks on them from various outlets, but they are now available in hi-res. Click on either image to download the originals.

Superman will serve as the first live-action entry expressly made for the new DCU.  In addition to seeing Superman, the film will include the first appearances of Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Perry White, Cat Grant, Steve Lombard, Lex Luthor, Eve Teschmacher, Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, Metamorpho, Guy Gardner, the Engineer, and Krypto the Superdog. Some rumors have indicated we will also see the first appearance of Supergirl, who is set to be played by Milly Alcock. She will then appear in her own film, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

The cast of Superman is set to include David Corenswet as Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. They will all be joined by Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, María Gabriela de Faría as the Engineer , Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Christopher MacDonald as Ron Troupe, and Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard.

Superman will hit theaters in wide release on July 11, 2025.
