Kajol is currently on the toes promoting her upcoming film Maa. It is said to be a mythological horror movie directed by Vishal Furia. He was the one who directed Chhorii. The movie is produced by Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat Pathak.

Maa is going to release on June 27. It is after a long time that Kajol will be seen on the big screen. The movie is said to be another instalment in the Shaitaan universe.
Kajol on rejecting films
So during the promotions of Maa, Kajol revealed one film that she turned down and it turned out to be a major success. Without any qualms, Kajol shared that it does not take her any moment to reject a role. She said ‘I don’t bother much before saying no to anything I don’t like.’
Kajol rejected 3 Idiots
The actress has no regrets rejecting any of the film. One such film that she rejected is 3 Idiots. Kajol revealed that she was approached for Rajkumar Hirani’s film that then fell in Kareena Kapoor Khan’s kitty. The film was a massive hit with box office collection being more than Rs 300 crore.

Kajol said, ‘I feel that those films were theirs, you know, jaise bolte hain na jiska likha hua hai usko hi milta hai..toh, I think that I have done very well for myself without them.’

Well, in the past, Shah Rukh Khan too had revealed that he was offered Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots that eventually starred Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi in the lead.
