Actor Silambarasan TR (Simbu) already has three major films lined up, but now speculation is swirling about a possible new project with acclaimed director Vetrimaaran. This unconfirmed update has taken fans by surprise and sparked excitement online.
Simbu’s latest release Thug Life, in which he stars alongside Kamal Haasan, hit theaters today. Up next is S.T.R. 49, directed by Parking fame Ramkumar Balakrishnan. The film is said to feature Kayadu Lohar as the female lead, with comedian Santhanam also playing a major role.
Following that, Simbu will begin work on S.T.R. 50, a grand-scale project directed by Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal director Desingu Periyasamy. Interestingly, Simbu will also be producing this film under his own banner.
Then comes S.T.R. 51, backed by AGS Productions and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, who recently clarified details about the film’s concept and Simbu’s character.
Despite announcements for these three films, none of them have officially started shooting.
Amidst this busy slate, rumors have emerged that Simbu may collaborate with Vetrimaaran for a new project. Given his packed schedule, the authenticity of this report remains uncertain. For now, fans will have to wait for an official confirmation to see if this powerhouse collaboration truly takes shape.
